Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Ice machine observed in unsanitary condition with mold/mildew on the filter. Staff turned off the ice machine during inspection to melt current supply of ice.
Correction: Clean and sanitize the ice machine as per approved sanitation plan. Submit a photo of the clean and sanitized ice machine to the health inspector PRIOR to using the machine. Implement a regular cleaning and sanitizing schedule for the ice machine to ensure it is maintained in good sanitary condition.

Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation: Hand washing station at front service area and in back dishwashing area is not supplied with paper towel in the dispenser. Soap dispensers are also not functioning.
Correction: Place paper towel and liquid soap in all dispensers at designated hand washing stations immediately. Maintain all hand washing stations with adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel AT ALL TIMES to ensure food handlers are washing their hands properly and to prevent food contamination.

Observations:
- Ice machine has been cleaned and sanitized. Ice machine may be used again. Ensure ice machine is cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis
- All hand washing stations are supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel

Notes:
- Follow-up Inspection to be conducted on Oct 6 in regards to outstanding violations (pest droppings and clutter removal)
