Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Staff member observed handling garbage container, followed by handing a plate of sweets without handwashing. Facility staff have had past issues regarding hand hygiene.
Corrective Action(s): Staff must adhere to good hand hygiene at all times to prevent potential cross contamination. Staff member washed hands at the time of inspection.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to February 4, 2019.
-Gravy made the previous night was probed at 4C. Gravy is made is made in smaller batches and cooled using a cooling ice wand.
-Gravy on stove at times of inspection was greater than 60C (at a rolling boil).
-Did not observed potentially hazardous foods stored at room temperature at the time of inspection.
-Food storage practices were good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the floor, covered, and protected from potential contamination,. Raw foods were stored below ready-to-eat foods.
-Did not observe foods thawing at room temperature at the time of inspection.
-Aluminum foil is now being changed after each use and is no longer reused.
-Facility was serviced by professional pest control services on Feb 14, 2019. Report indicated no live cockroach activity in the kitchen. Treatment was applied to the kitchen.
