Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Found a tote of mouldy white onions in the dry storage room.
Corrective Action(s): Discarded all white onions and directed operator to reclean and resanitize the container before refill. Ensure to check inventory more frequently so that mouldy products are not used.

205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Tzatziki sauce was probed to be 9.2C in the same prep cooler where cut tomatoes were measured <4C.
Corrective Action(s): Operator informed that it was because the tzatziki sauce was double stacked. Removed one of the insert. Ensure that potentially hazardous food is stored at 4C or colder. No need for double stacking the inserts.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Meat slicer appear to have powder and red bits of deli meat on the slicer. Unit is used every 3-4 days.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the meat slicer is taken apart and properly cleaned and sanitized after every use.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Several cans of tomatoes were stored on the floor.
Corrective Action(s): Reminder that all foods need to be stored 6 inches off the ground.

Observation: Food debris noted on the prep cooler shelves, kitchen floors (corners and hard to reach areas), deep fryer (grease accumulated on both insides of the fryer) and back dry storage area.
Corrective Action(s): Please reorganize the premises, clean and sanitize all noted areas by follow up inspection.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Three compartment sinks and prep sink are both leaking. Only 1 drain plug found at time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Operator has gone out to purchase parts for repair. Please repair the leak and obtain 2 more drain plugs immediately as dishware cannot be properly washed and sanitized without working sink. Complete by tomorrow Sept 24, 2019.
