Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): At time of inspection and arrival of EHO facility did not have bleach or other type of sanitizer solution for proper dishwashing methods.
EHO had staff check downstairs supply area and no bleach was found. Facility had leftover sanitizer solution in spray bottle from previous day but not enough for use for the remainder of the day.
Staff informed EHO bleach had run out yesterday
CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION: EHO directed staff to close facility and obtain bottle of plain household bleach for sanitizer solution at neighbouring facility OR have owner or other staff drop off at store. Staff chose to go to neighbouring store to purchase Bleach solution for sanitizer solution.

EHO asked staff cleaning methods for common use items including scoops and blenders. Staff informed EHO that these items are rinsed after each use and cleaned at the end of the night.
CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION: EHO directed staff to use newly purchased bleach and set up two compartment sink for cleaning and sanitizing purposes.

Corrective Action(s): Ensure adequate supply of sanitizer on site and in use at all times.
Ensure staff are wash, rinse and sanitizing all commonly used items every 2 to 4 hours or more frequently as required throughout the day.
Discuss these items with staff.

Spray rodent droppings with 200ppm chlorine solution or equivalent. Remove droppings from area. Wet affected area with 200ppm chlorine or equivalent and soak area.
Inspect facility for points of entry for pests. Seal any holes.
Obtain services of professional pest control company.
Have traps set.

*** Downstairs storage area requires significant cleaning and sanitizing. EHO to return to asses cleaning and organizing. Pest control services must be obtained and inspection report provided to EHO at next follow up inspection.
Contact EHO for further requirements. IF compliance does not occur EHO will implement progressive enforcement action.
