Observation: Flies still observed by the dish washing area.
Corrective Action(s): Clean the premises to remove any food sources and harbourage sites for the flies. Hire a pest control company if haven't done so already.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Same sanitary issues noted during the last routine inspection. Minimal improvements noted. Picture evidence collected during the inspection.
1. Dark, encrusted black buildup below the flat grill.
2. Heavy carbon and grease buildup noted on the vent hood.
3. Encrusted grease buildup and debris noted on the floor below the deep fryer.
4. Fruit flies excrement still noted on the wall by the electrical panel.
Corrective Action(s): As per staff, cleaning was done after the routine inspection however due to the nature of their business, carbon and grease buildup has accumulated again after the clean-up.
Minimal improvements were noted. Please deep clean and sanitize the aforementioned areas. Operator may need to increase cleaning frequency to maintain the premises in a sanitary condition.

Food grade container being used to transport ice from ice machine to bar area.
Thermometer noted in the single-door refrigerator in the bar area.

No improvement noted in the sanitary condition of the premises since last routine inspection. Operator may want to consider increasing the deep cleaning frequency of the premises. If no improvement is observed during the next follow-up inspection (in approximately 2 weeks), increase enforcement action may ensue.
