Observation: Ice machine has growth of black mold/mildew.
Corrective Action(s): - Drain the ice machine. Wash with warm water and soap and rinse with water. Sanitize using 200ppm quats sanitizer and let it ary dry before restarting ice machine
- Ensure that it is included in regular cleaning schedule

Observation: The glass washer in the bar area is not working. Manager and staff is aware of the issue and the service company has been called for service.
Corrective Action(s): - Follow up inspection to be conducted on August 15th Wednesday
- Meanwhile all the glassware must washed and sanitized using the kitchen dishwasher

Comments

- All handsinks are supplied with hot and cold running water, soap and paper towel. NOTE: Two handsinks in the kitchen were backing up as the drains were clogged. Ensure that not food or other items are rinsed in the handsinks and the drains are clear.
- Walk-in cooler and undercounter storage coolers are maintained at temperatures less than 4C.
- Walk-in freezer is -20C.
- Hot holding units for soups, gravy and rice are greater than 60C
- Sanitizer solution in spray bottles and all buckets are 200ppm quats
- Chemical dishwasher dispensed 50ppm chlorine solution during final rinse at the dishsurface
- No evidence of pest activity noted at the time of inspection
- Food storage practices are satisfactory
- General sanitation is satisfactory

NOTE: Permit fee of $250.00 is outstanding and owing to Fraser Health for the current fiscal year from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019. Ensure the permit fee payment is made to Fraser Health within 10 business days from today to avoid any enforcement action. Refer to the permit fee letter for details.
