Observation: 1. Back door screen door observed with several gaps. Screen door not safely attached to the foundation.
2. Grease build-up still observed under the grill, oven, and stoves.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Replace screen door with a functioning screen door to eliminate possible pest entry.
2. Clean and remove all long standing grease under cooking equipment to prevent the attraction of pests.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Grease build-up still observed under grill, stoves, and ovens.
2. Dust build-up still observed on guard in walk-in cooler.
3. Food build-up still observed on the doors and handles of stand-up fridges in kitchen area.
Corrective Action(s): Clean/remove all grease, food debris, and dust build-up to maintain the premises in sanitary condition and to prevent the attraction of pests.

311 - Premises not maintained as per approved plans [s. 6(1)(b)]
Observation: 1. Damaged floor tiles observed in front dining room area patched with duct tape.
2. Damaged floor tiles observed in kitchen area by dishwasher.
3. Duct tape being used as a seal in the walk-in cooler and reach-in cooler in the kitchen area.
4. Washing machine observed in staff bathroom. Noted by previous inspector, washing machine is not to be used.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Duct tape is not a solution to repair damaged equipment or flooring since it is not durable or easy to clean. Remove duct tape and have equipment and floor tiles repaired/replaced.
2. DO NOT use washing machine. Submit proposal to add washing machine in premises to the undersigned. The washing machine must comply with the BC Plumbing Code and kept in a separate area from food preparation and storage areas.
