Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 2 meatball skewers were noted in the hot hold units with internal temperartures of 42.0C and 47.0C. As per Manager, they were cooked to the required final cooking temperature before storing in the hot hold unit. All other hot food in the same unit were held at above 60C.
Corrective Action(s): The 2 skewers were discarded by staff during the inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer was set-up and available at the front reheating and serving area.
Corrective Action(s): Sanitizer spray bottle was refilled from the wall mounted sanitizer station in the back of house. Please ensure that food handlers must have access to an approved food contact sanitizer for use during food preparation/ service.

Note: This 7-Eleven has ceased the operation of their kitchen - no deep frying or food preparation in the back room.

Routine inspection conducted today:

Handwash station, including staff washroom, accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
Please ensure all paper towel rolls are stored protected and placed within the dispenser.
All refrigeration units were at 4C or below.
All freezer units were at -18C or below.
Hot hold units (except for meatball skewers as noted above) were holding food at 60C or above.
Individual creamers and dairy containers were stored in ice.
200 PPM QUAT detected in the wall mounted QUAT dispenser by the 3-compartment sink.
No signs of pest activities noted during the inspection.
