Follow up inspection to Correction Order dated July 18, 2018 - Fruit fly infestation. - Observed significant reduction in overall fruit fly infestation. No fruit flies noted at any of the beverage nozzles, minimal noted under sink by glasswasher area, minimal noted under counters along bar, no activity overflowing onto bar counter and area. Very good! **Note: No flies observed in traps set by PCO. Questionable effectiveness. Discussed action plan with manager. Following corrective action taken: - PCO in every second day. **try to continue this protocol through August if possible; - Beverage holsters disconnected and soaked every night; - heightened level of cleaning areas under bar nightly; - Seams between bar cabinets sealed, exposed wood resealed, most holes for plumbing/beverage/electrical at base of bar sealed with foam to preclude fly entry/exit; - Plumbing leaks in process of fixing; some done more remain; - Liquor caps removed and soaked in soda water daily; - general cleaning around and under glasswasher observed - more needed; Continue to: - Seal cabinetry at bar. Recommend sealing all the edges and seams to prevent water accumulation in these areas (observed some water gathering in these areas; - Fix water leaking under sink next to glasswasher - move pipe network in this area daily to ensure stagnant water is not accumulating and providing additional breeding environments; - Clean out drain under ice sink at end of bar (it is full of debris) to inhibit future fly breeding potential. **KEEP DAILY STAFF CLEANING IN BAR AREA AT PRESENT LEVELS - Continue to be thorough.
