Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Residential Care Licensing Regulation (RCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). Evidence for this report was based on the Licensing Officers observations, review of the facility records and information provided by the facility staff and manager at the time of inspection. Contraventions from the previous inspection were the focus of this inspection.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

The manager has responded pro-actively in response to the routine inspection and has implemented systems to ensure adequate care is provided and monitored on an on-going basis. The manager will review the restraints review form to show that nurse assessments and doctor reviews are done. Discussion was had with the manager regarding the availability of the Fraser Health Licensing Dietitian as a resource. Licensing will forward contact information. All contraventions from the routine inspection have been addressed. Thank you for your assistance with this inspection.
