Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care & Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Summary of Inspection
At the inspection dated August 5, 2021 there were seven children and three staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed and a copy is provided. This report was reviewed with the manager and written off site. A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager. Total time includes office time.
The following were discussed:
Ensuring Covid-19 protocols are followed (facility is following their covid policy)
One section of the fence with the neighboring property is starting to show signs of wear and tear. Ways of repairing the fence was discussed.
Having a copy of the tenants criminal record check available at the facility.
