209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: One tray of 12 muffins and one tray of 5 pumpkin scones, 4 blueberry scones and 6 ham and cheese croissants on front counter - no lid or other cover in place, no sneeze guard, tray was approximately 12 - 14 inches from customers faces.
Soft lime ~3/4 brown and crusted skin in double door cooler.
Corrective Action(s): .
All uncovered/unprotected foods to be discarded.
ALL foods must be kept protected from contamination at all times either by wrapping products individually, placing in a covered container accessible only to food workers, placing behind/under a sneeze guard or other method that will ensure that food does not become contaminated while either on display or in storage.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Dead insects, cobwebs, debris behind/under shelves in storage room by ice rink. Several mouse traps and one rat trap in room - none of these traps have been set.
Corrective Action(s): Storage room needs a thorough cleaning. Rodent traps to either be removed or set and properly placed so that they are functional.

Observation: Employee has been working for two months but does not have FOODSAFE.
