-Inspection conducted with student Environmental Health Officer.
-Walk-in dairy cooler was at 2C.
-Walk-in meat cooler was at 3C.
-Walk-in produce cooler was at 3C.
-Wall coolers were less than 4C.
-Bank coolers were less than 4C.
-Upright yogurt cooler was at 4C.
-Cut fruit and foods labelled keep refrigerated were at 4C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -14C.
-Wall coolers ranged from -17C to -20C.
-Bank freezers ranged from -14C to -18C.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Quats sanitizer dispenser was at 200ppm.
-Sanitizer spray bottles were labelled and tested at 200ppm.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection.
-Random selection of canned foods were within their best before dates. Stock properly rotated.
-Canned foods are checked nightly and damaged cans are removed from the store shelves.
-Baby foods and nutritional supplements were within their expiry dates.
-General sanitation satisfactory at the time of inspection. Minor evidence of rodent droppings were observed in the back warehouse. Clean and sanitize areas affected by rodent droppings and monitor for pest activity. Contact pest control operator as needed.
-Facility is serviced by professional control operator every 2 weeks.
