Follow up inspection conducted to verify that violations noted at routine inspection 05-Jul-2021 have been addressed.
- Areas where mouse droppings were noted have been cleaned and droppings removed. No additional droppings noted in these areas.
- Orkin was contracted to address potential entrance points/harbourage areas which has included: sealing gaps in floors and walls and installing metal plates/flashing on lower portion of walls.
- Pest Control contract continues to be in place with weekly service. Warehouse Mgr has provided most recent service reports. Service report from 03-Aug-2021 notes no activity in interior tin cat traps.
- Rodent (mice) activity appears to have decreased; however, one mouse was noted to be caught in a snap trap near the walk-in freezer at time of the inspection. This was removed by staff at time of the inspection. Notify Pest Control Technician of activity in this area.

Ongoing action required:
- Continue to maintain contract with Pest Control Company/Technician. Service report dated 03-Aug-2021 from Pest Control Technician outlines a number of recommendations/actions to be taken. Ensure all recommendations of Pest Control Technician are completed.
- Maintain a high level of sanitation within warehouse. Ensure any spilled food is cleaned up immediately and any damaged food/packages removed from warehouse. Do not allow it to accumulate near bay doors.
- Keep warehouse free from clutter/debris to facilitate monitoring avoid creating harbourage locations or runways. Remove items which are stacked leaning against the wall in hallway near walk-in freezer. Keep clearance around warehouse walls to allow Pest Control Technician to access devices/traps.
- Email Pest Control service reports for the next month to undersigned.
