Comments

Summary of Inspection:
The COVID-19 Pre-screening was conducted at the door.
During today’s inspection, there were 35 children, the manager, 8 staff, and 2 volunteers present.
At this inspection the above noted contravention was identified. Manager is required to submit a corrective action plan to address the contravention.
The following was discussed
Manager stated the flooring in one area of the 3-5 program would need to be adjusted. It was discussed, a mat over the floor would prevent tripping until the adjustment. Another area behind the cubbies was missing a portion of cubbies where the bench seat goes. This piece was back ordered and will be installed in the next few days and was not located in a useable area.
Licensing observed an employee's coffee cup on the table where the children were playing, it was immediately moved to the counter. It was discussed that the licensee ensure the staff are familiar with the hot drinks policy in the facility.
The food service plan submitted to licensing for approval was discussed. Licensing had emailed a form for Licensee to fill-out and submit, and once that is complete, licensing can review and approve the plan.
COVID-19 Audit was completed, and current BCCDC guidelines were given.
