306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: A) Walk-in cooler floor beginning to have build up of food debris. Needs a scraping, but also some of the corners under shelves in walk-in need cleaning.
*Operator in discussions with refinishing floor. This will help staff keep the floor better maintained.
B) Two sections of doors and slides have water build up inside the glass, which is leaking out onto the slide, especially in the corners (hard to see).
Corrective Action(s): Clean up the floor as discussed. Re-surfacing the floor would be a great thing. Continue to explore this option.
Make sure staff are cleaning the two identified door sections and slides, including the use of sanitizer on a more frequent basis to ensure the mixture of food debris and water doesn't become a 'bacterial soup'.
Violation Score: 9

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
