Observation: Rodent droppings were observed on the shelving units of cabinets in front service area and floor of both back storage rooms. Operator's husband bleached the affected area during the inspection and stated they would thoroughly remove the rodent droppings from these areas.
Corrective action: clean the affected areas to remove rodent droppings today. Implement a pest control program & keep entrances shut to prevent entry of rodents. Monitor for signs of recent pest control activity.

Routine inspection for food store:
- Handsink was supplied adequately.
- Cooler was at or below 4°C
- Freezer was at or below -18°C
- Bleach was available onsite.
- Operator is still in process to submit list of emu items, food safety plan sanitation plan, and copy of operator's valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate to apply to operate a food service establishment (with hot dogs), then obtain an inspection & provide a permit fee for this type of operation.
Note: Hot dogs were not being sold at the time of inspection and are not permitted to be sold at this food store at this time.
