Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Ice machine observed with buildup of biofilm/mildew on interior surfaces.
2. Few pieces of food equipment stored on clean storage rack in dishwashing area were observed with small amounts of food debris or build up (e.g. grating blade). Items placed into dishwashing area to be washed, rinsed, and sanitized.
Correction: Discard ice. Ensure above-noted items are properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized to remove potential contamination. Date to be corrected by: Today.

Follow up to inspection report # MBEK-C4PS5F.
Equipment/utensils noted on previous report (including ice machine and meat slicer) were observed to be in sanitary condition. Operator described cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
Toaster oven in clean condition.
Extra equipment (plates, bowls) stored under prep sink area have been removed. Area observed to be in clean condition.
Cut fruits/vegetables and bean sprouts not observed at ambient temperature at time of inspection.
Non-food grade containers (e.g. "Home Depot" buckets) removed. Single use containers and utensils not observed to be used for food storage.
No food residue observed on metal surface/table located on left side of dishwashing machine.
No stacking of containers/bowls observed in prep cooler.
Dry storage area has been cleaned. No dust visible on/around vent.
Personal items stored appropriately at time of inspection (away from food areas).
Small white freezer measured -20 degrees C.
New temperature record sheets available. Follow food safety plan for record keeping.
