Observation: No bleach available in the facility to sanitize scoops for repackaging
Correction: In order to repackage foods, facility must have a sanitizer to sanitize food contact surfaces and scoops/utensils.
Comments

-Follow-up inspection to August 22, 2023.
-Operator stated the food items were made from an unapproved source (home based foods). Items have been removed from the facility. Facility may only sell foods from sources which are approve. Products which are properly prepared and packed and have invoices. Future incidences of sale of unapproved foods will result in the issuance of a Violation Ticket in the amount of $230.
-Operator has obtained bleach for sanitizing equipment and food contact surfaces. To prepare 100ppm to 200ppm bleach, add 1/2 teaspoon of bleach in 1L of water. Bottle must be labelled.
-Conditions of the Public Health Act Correction Order issued August 22, 2023 have been met. Order has been rescinded. Facility may continue to repackage foods.
