At this inspection dated October 27, 2020 there were 5 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection the above noted contravention was identified. Licensee is required to take corrective action by below date to bring facility into compliance. The contravention noted in this report was reviewed with the manager during today's inspection. This inspection report was completed off site (0.5 hr) and emailed along with the Risk Assessment to the facility, therefore no signature is attached.
LO discussed the following with the Manager:
- Continue to monitor an maintain proper cleaning and sanitization for all high-touch surfaces, toys and equipment including any porous materials used within the facility.
-All cleaning spray bottles should be labelled for safer cleaning/disinfecting practice. When using store bought cleaning products, please follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- First Aid Kit/ Medication: any items with DIN # including alcohol pad, chloride wipes, insect repellent or other medicated ointment require to have parent's consent prior to administering to the children. Medication amount/ time of administration should be documented promptly.
- Covid 19 Safety Plan: signage to be posted to remind other not to enter facility if they are sick.

- Public Health Guidance for Child Care Setting During the COVID-19
- Respiratory, Personal and Hand Hygiene ( Posters of Handwashing, Cough and Sneeze Etiquette)
- Covid-19 signage ( to remind other not to enter facility if they are sick)
