209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. A pair of tongs was stored with the handle in contact with noodles.
2. Cloth towels were observed covering rice in the rice warmer.
3. Three open metal cans containing tomato ketchup, tomato paste, and coconut were observed within the walk in cooler.
4. Ice machine scoop stored in ice.
5. A container of marinating raw meat observed to be stored above cooked rice in the walk in cooler.
Corrective Action(s): All of the above-noted violations were corrected during inspection.
Ensure utensils are stored in a manner so that the handle does not come into contact with food. Ensure the ice scoop is stored in a manner that protects ice from potential contamination (e.g. store in a clean, dry container). Ensure the contents of cans are transferred into appropriate food grade containers if the contents are to be stored. Cans may corrode over time (e.g. where the can is cut) and potentially contaminate food. Ensure raw animal products are not stored above ready-to-eat foods to protect foods below from potential contamination.

304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: Some mouse droppings observed on the floor in the following areas:
- Near the back wall of the dishwashing area
- Near the back wall located adjacent to the walk in cooler
- In the hot water tank room.
In addition, a mouse was observed in one trap (tin cat) located in the hot water tank room.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure above-noted areas are properly cleaned and disinfected.
Have pest control reset above-noted tin cat trap.
Locate and seal any new holes/gaps that may potentially permit pest entry. Date to be corrected by: Today.

Observation: No staff/management on site at the time of inspection had valid FOODSAFE Level 1 or its equivalent.

Dry storage room for food and equipment/utensils is in excellent sanitary condition. Food is stored in containers with fitted lids and protected from potential contamination.
Hand washing stations are accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
Other sinks (e.g. food prep, warewashing) are also supplied with hot and cold running water.
High temperature dishwasher achieved a temperature of 76 degrees C at the plate level (required: 71 degrees C or more at the plate level).
Bar glasswasher measured 12.5 to 25 ppm iodine sanitizer in the rinse residual (required: 12.5 to 25 ppm iodine sanitizer).
Quaternary ammonium compounds (quats) sanitizer available in labeled spray bottles at a concentration of 200 ppm quats.
Equipment/utensils maintained in sanitary condition.
