Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Sanitizer spray bottle had no detectable Quats sanitizer and second spray bottle nozzle was broken.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure sanitizer is available in spray bottles for sanitizing food contact surfaces. Sanitizer at 200ppm Quats was prepared at the time of inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Scoop and tongs were stored in direct contact with the food.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure scoops are stored in a sanitary manner to prevent potential contamination of foods. Scoops were relocated at the time of inspection.

Observation: Rodent droppings were observed in the back of the facility. Facility is serviced monthly by professional pest control.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 3C.
-Prep cooler was at 4C (top and bottom) - new cooler unit.
-No dipping sauces labelled "Keep Refrigerated" stored at room temperature at the time of inspection.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Quats sanitizer was at 200ppm.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Vegetable dicer was found to be clean and sanitary. Staff are properly cleaning and sanitizing the equipment after each use.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and single use paper towels.
-FOODSAFE Level 1 valid until March 15, 2028.
