Routine check. Hair services ONLY. No shaving/no razors. Contact Fraser Health for approval before offering any additional services (such as shaving or piercing). Barbicide is available for combs, brushes etc. Extra barbicide on site. Each stylist has barbicide at their station. Clippercide is available for disinfecting clippers. Other disinfectants: - Low level quats disinfectant - dilute as per directions on bottle. - Intermediate level disinfectant is ready to use and must not be diluted with water. ***Store this chemical in original container or properly labeled container. Spray bottles to be labelled to accurately show contents (ie windex). Follow directions of proper and safe use of chemicals. Washroom hand sink and staff hand washing sink have hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels in dispensers. Disposable gloves are non-latex. Hair washing sinks have vacuum breakers for backflow prevention. Towels are laundered on site using hot dry cycle - good. Garbage /recycling are well- organized. Back storage room to be organized to facilitate cleaning. Clean washroom regularly. Signature not required. Copy of report left with staff.
