Observation: Ice machine has mould like formations in ice bin.
Ice scoop kept on discoloured towel.
Mould and or discoloration observed in dishpit on wall-stainless steel joint areas
Corrective Action(s): Clean and disinfect ice machine bin and ice formation apparatus. Clean and disinfect ice machine quarterly or more frequently if required.
Wash ice scoop and store in a washable container. Add task to sanitation plan.
Clean dispit caulking if possible or replace.
