Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). All care categories were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.
Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated January 18, 2023 there were 22 children and 2 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
The following education/recommendations were provided:
· Promoting Active Play in the program
· A discussion was had with the manager regarding guiding young children's behaviour in particular direction and guidance in relation with children requiring extra support. The document Guiding Young Children's Behaviour was mentioned and it was provided to the Program Coordinator of the facility.
· Active Supervision
· Lead in the Water
