The Licensee emailed the Licensing Officer on July 1, 2019 indicating that all of the previously noted violations had been addressed. During today's inspection the Licensing Officer confirmed the following:
Ice packs contained in each of the children's lunch bags,
in the washroom the floor and toilet have been replaced and the rust in the sink has been removed,
the number of high chairs has been reduced and the number of children's chairs has been increased,
one of the slide/climber has been removed from the outdoor play area and the remaining slide/climber is for the Licensee's own children and the daycare children are not using it,
the Licensee has purchased a new first aid kit,
the Licensee has updated their policies and procedure, including the addition of a outdoor play and screen use policy,
the Licensee has added items to their craft/art supplies,
children's records are all up to date and
the daily sign in and out sheet has been amended to have all of the children listed on one sheet.
All previously coded violations have been satisfactorily addressed, thank you.
