Observation: Mouse droppings noted along wall where ice cream machines are and under shelving by pop bibs
Corrective Action(s): Thoroughly clean areas noted above to remove droppings. Continue to monitor these area and clean up droppings immediately if noted. Cleaning was completed at the time of the inspection.

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Prep cooler in back was at 24C. Cooler was not in use at the time of the inspection, but is normally used for the fruit for the frozen yogurt.
Corrective Action(s): Repair cooler so that it is capable of maintaining a temperature of 4C or colder. Correction date: July 12/17

Comments

-General sanitation of Yoyo's area was satisfactory *Some splatter noted on wall where soft serve machines are. Ensure this area is part of your regular cleaning schedule and any spills are cleaned immediately as this may be an attractant to pests.
-Handsink supplied with liquid soap and paper towel.
-Quats sanitizer (200ppm) present
-High temperature dishwasher met sanitizing temperature requirement. Temperature was 72.3C at dish surface as measured with peak holding thermometer.
-Cleaning schedule for soft serve machine present. Temperature of product is being monitored
-Double door cooler was 4C. Noted proper thawing practices of product (ie. in cooler)
-Pest Control Technician on-site weekly. Service reports provided at the time of the inspection. Ensure recommendations from Pest Control Technician are being followed/completed.
