At today’s inspection there were 2 children and the manager present. Licensing conducted a walk through of the entire facility.
At this inspection the above noted contraventions were identified. The Licensee will take action to bring the facility into compliance and provide a written response to the Licensing Officer by November 29, 2022 The Licensing Officer will review the response.
As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed. The risk assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection, a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation. This is used to determine inspection frequency.
The contents of the inspection report were reviewed with the manager and written on-site. A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager on November 22, 2022 and a paper copy mailed to the facility.
The following was discussed with the manager;
- Reminder about educators licence renewal
- Reminder about fire extinguisher service
- Requirements if using DIN (Drug Identification Number) in first aid kits
- Illness policy
- Ensuring information throughout children's registration forms is complete
- Repayment policy and emergency plan
- Naproom closet door maintenance
