Follow up inspection:
-Previously affected area in the dry storage room with rodent droppings was cleaned and disinfected as per Operator. Rodent droppings had been removed.
-Pest control report was available on-site whereas Orkin had provided a rodent control service on August 30, 2021.
-Dry goods were stored in containers with tight fitting lids and were stored off the floor.
-Operator stated staff have been sanitizing prep. surfaces each morning prior to use due to the previous pest activity noted.
-Previously stacked cardboard boxes near the backdoor were removed from the premises. Backdoor area was de-cluttered.
-Lower surface of the table near the dishwasher had been cleaned to remove build-up.
-Continue to monitor for signs of recent pest activity (e.g. droppings, rodents, holes in the structure, etc.) and continue with integrated pest control measures (pest control program to service the mechanical traps, cleaning and sanitizing, keeping dry food covered in pest-proof containers, keeping doors closed between use, preventing harbourage areas, checking received goods for pests, sealing any holes etc.).
