Introduction

An unscheduled follow-up inspection to routine #NSAO-CQKU7C was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DoLSoP). The outdoor play area was reviewed as the last outstanding area of non-compliance from the previous routine.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the follow-up inspection there were 3 children, 1 staff and the Licensee present. All contraventions from the previous routine have been addressed. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.


The following was discussed:
-Outdoor play area ready for use by child care program
-Rake to be stored away when children are present
-Daily outdoor safety checks
-Licensing Duty line: #604-587-3936 for emergences if area Licensing Officer can't be contacted.
-Regular review of BCCDC website for COVID-19 updates (see link below)
