Comments

Follow up to report MBEK-CGFSR5.
Areas noted on previous report as requiring cleaning have been cleaned and organized.
Raw animal products (e.g. raw shell eggs) not observed to be stored above ready-to-eat items.
Hand sinks are accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels. No concerns with hand washing practices at time of inspection.
Operator has opted to refrain from using the hot holding cabinet for storage of potentially hazardous foods (e.g. sausage rolls); only non-potentially hazardous pastries such as croissants will be stored here due to concerns with quality of product when stored at higher temperature settings. Sausage rolls to be kept in a cooler at 4 degrees C or less.
Technician has serviced display cooler noted on previous report; however, cooler needs to be re-serviced as it is not capable of maintaining 4 degrees C or less at this time (ambient temperature at 8 degrees C). Continue to ensure that potentially hazardous food items are not stored in this cooler until it has been re-serviced, and then re-inspected by the Environmental Health Officer.
Temperature logs are maintained. Ensure corrective action is taken and documented if temperatures fall outside of required range (for example, if a cooler is noted above 4 degrees C).
Follow up inspection to be conducted for display cooler noted above.
