Code 302 noted on Routine inspection # BCUD-AB4VLK of Jun-20-2016
Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] (Found food contact equipment in storage in poor sanitary condition:
- Large, flat pizza spacers
- Veggie slicers (one downstairs, one upstairs)
- Can opener, inclusive of the counter mounted base
- Electric veggie slicer)
Comments

Follow up inspection.
Cleaning has been done as requested around jalebi cart storage area, with clutter removed. No evidence of rodent droppings.
Upstairs dry storage area (and roll racks of sweets) has been thoroughly cleaned and organized.
- a large pipe with a line of mouse droppings was removed at time of inspection
- the small area between the walk in cooler and the partial wall needs to be cleaned out
- downstairs dish pit had some rodent droppings that were cleaned at time of inspection
Continue to clean these hot spots nightly. Use 9 parts water to 1 part bleach in a spray bottle, soak the area with the droppings, then clean up while wet.
Food utensils and equipment:
- can opener had not been adequately cleaned and sanitized. Addressed at time of inspection
- pizza pan spacers in mediocre sanitary condition. Clean off your pans on a regular basis too. Most of the grime on the spacers is from burnt oil
- manual veggie slicers in use at time of inspection. A brush was purchased as requested. Thank you
New thermometer added to standing drinks cooler.
Note: this machine not maintaining 4C or below. Now used for only drinks. OK
Refrigeration equipment has been serviced, however temperatures still remain high. 2 prep coolers (small white one upstairs, pizza cooler downstairs) at 6C.
Note: internal store temperature >30C
Chest freezer upstairs has been defrosted and cleaned.

Remaining:
Continue daily clean ups of rodent droppings. Ensure NOTHING is left out for rodents to eat over night
Get behind upstairs walk in cooler. Do not vacuum! Spray down with bleach water as described above
Adjust your coolers or alter how they're used to prevent temperature abuse of food product during hot days
Begin monitoring all coolers holding food daily. Keep records on site for 3 months
