Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): - No food contact surface sanitizer was present within produce prep area and produce staff were unsure of suitable product to use.
Corrective Action(s): - Bottle of quats sanitizer (200ppm) was supplied to produce prep area at time of inspection. Bottle was filled by Meat Dept.
- Ensure food contact surface sanitizer is always available in produce prep area for use on prep surface, cutting board and knives.
- Dispenser for quats sanitizer should be installed within or near produce prep area to allow for spray bottles to be filled.

Comments

- General sanitation of store area was satisfactory.
- Liquid soap and paper towel were available for handwashing at produce prep area
- Ensure proper manual warewashing procedures (wash, rinse, sanitize, air dry) are used for cutting board and knives used for produce prep.
- Pest control contract in place with regular service. No signs of pest activity noted at time of inspection with the exception of a few flies. Ensure waste (garbage and organic) are changed frequently to prevent attraction of flies.

- Walk-in cooler (produce) 4C
- Walk-in cooler (dairy) 1C
- Walk-in freezer (grocery) -20C
- Retail display cooler 4C or colder
- Retail display freezer were -18C or colder

Observations and required corrective action reviewed with Store Supervisor and a copy of the report was provided.
