- Display case cooler with mushrooms has been repaired. Saran wrapped mushrooms have been moved to the other side of the cooler (away from the back enterance to the facility) where the cooler is 2C. The other end is still at approx 10C - do not store saran wrapped mushrooms, spouts or cut fruits/vegetables at this end unless it is able to maintain 4C or less.
- Cardboard has been removed from the register counters. Operator still needs more time to install more counter here. In the interim, ensure staff are aware that cardboard boxes are not to be used as counter area.
- Sanitizer (100ppm chlorine) available in both the produce cutting and meat processing area. Sanitizer bottles were labelled at time of inspection.
- All foods appeared protected from contamination at time of inspection (ie. stored off the ground, covered...etc)
- Discussed hats off day issues with manager (food preparation taking place without set up of hand wash station, no sanitizer solution available, no foodsafe certified staff on site...etc). Manager to discuss with staff for next year.
