Observation: Rodent droppings observed to be underneath the produce pallets behind the back storage areas, underneath isles in the front stores, and behind stand-up freezers. Dead rodent observed underneath the dry storage isle in the front of the food store.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and disinfect the aforementioned areas daily to prevent possible pest harbourage. Continue to have Pest Control company come in weekly. Corrected by: Immediately.

Observation: Shelving in the produce cooler observed to be worn with holes.
Corrective Action(s): Replace shelving units in the produce cooler with imporous, and easily cleanable material. Corrected by: April 15, 2022.

Comments

Routine Inspection conducted today.

Handwashing sinks well equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
QUATs spray bottles at 200ppm. 2-compartment sink available for produce washing.
Stand-up coolers, walk-in cooler, and produce cooler measured at 4C or lower. Stand-up freezers measured at -18C or lower.
Pest control company, Orkin, comes in weekly to check for pest activity. Previous pest report for April 5, 2022, indicated 2 rodent traps with rodent activity.
Food observed to be stored at least 6 inches off the floor.

NOTE: Ensure that all refrigeration units are 4C or lower. All cut vegetables must be stored in refrigeration units of 4C or lower. All repackaging of dry goods must be labelled with manufacturer, date of production, and location of repackaging.

All outstanding violations in report#PDHL-C3KLUF have been addressed:
-Milk/egg coolers have been services to prevent water condensation.
-No broken egg shells noted on the ground in the display cooler.
-Food observed to be stored above the floor in the walk-in cooler and freezers.


Overall, facility is well organized.
