Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # TSTY-A9LTZF of May-03-2016 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Heavy accumulation of mildew observed on internal parts of ice machine. Correction: Affected parts discussed with operator on site. All parts of machine must be cleaned and sanitized by tonight (3rd May 2016). Ensure ice is removed from bin prior to cleaning top section of unit. Follow-up inspection required. Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # MBEK-BANVGY of Mar-27-2019 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: What appears to be mildew was observed on the interior surfaces of the ice machine (concentrated on left corner below ice production panel). Correction: Discard ice. Ensure interior surfaces of ice machine are properly cleaned to remove all mildew / biofilm, rinse, then sanitize. Mildew / biofilm may potentially contaminate ice. Follow up to Rpt # MBEK-BANGVY Bleach water sanitizer available at 100 to 200 ppm chlorine. Reminder to change solution as often as needed to maintain sanitizing concentrations. Ice machine in clean condition. Scoop and mallet are stored in a clean container. No cling wrap present on mallet.
