Observation: Sanitizer was not available on-site. Person in Charge mentioned that they were not sure where the bleach bottle is stored however that they will either find it or replace it by this Friday December 1, 2017. Note: Food service is expected to occur this Sunday December 3, 2017 for congregation members and no food service was taking place at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure sanitizer (e..g unscented household bleach) is available on-site and is used at the appropriate concentration (100 ppm chlorine sanitizer by mixing 1/2 teaspoon bleach per L of water) during food preparation & service to destroy any potential harmful bacteria/viruses on surfaces; Effective immediately. A follow up inspection will be conducted on December 1, 2017.

Comments

Handsinks were adequately supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Both upright coolers were at or below 4 degrees C (3.9 degrees C and 1.1 degrees C).
Kimchi cooler was at or below 4 degrees C (0.1 degrees C).
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
Chest freezer and upright freezer were at or below -18 degrees C. Food was stored in food grade materials and was not being stored directly into grocery bags.
Two chest freezers were unplugged and were empty of potentially hazardous food.
It was reviewed that food must be cooked/heated to at least 74 degrees C / 165 degrees F internally within 2 hours.
Person in charge mentioned that they serve the food immediately upon cooking it.
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was 75.9 degrees C (71 degrees C or hotter) internally at the plate.
No signs of recent pest activity were noted at the time of inspection. .
Food storage areas were clean and organized at the time of inspection.
