- General sanitation is satisfactory
- All coolers (display, upright) < or = 4C. Note: The display/walk in cooler were not in use at the time of the inspection. It is only used on weekends.
- All freezers (walk in, chest, upright) < or = -18C
- Daily temperature logs must be kept up to date. This will be verified during the next follow up inspection.
- No signs of pest activity at the time of the inspection. Recommend interior pest control management system.
- Bulk food items stored in bins. Ensure that the scoop handles do not touch the food items.
- Random food items (i.e. prepackaged meats) checked for expiration dates, condition of packaging, and signs of deterioration. All in good condition.
- Dry storage area is organized and food items are kept at min 6inches (15cm) off the floor for better cleaning, air circulation, and preventing pest contamination.
Meat section:
- Prepackaged Halal meats.
- Three compartment sink for manual warewashing.
- Handwashing station supplied with hot/cold running water, soap, paper towels.
- Meat slicer in clean condition. |
