Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was completed to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA) and the Residential Care Regulation (RCR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSOP). Evidence for this report was based on the Licensing Officer’s observations, review of the facility records, and information provided by the facility staff at the time of inspection. Care systems reviewed during inspections and investigations include the following: Licensing Physical Facility Staffing Care and Supervision Hygiene and Communicable Disease Control Nutrition and Food Services Program Records & Reporting. As part of the routine inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The Risk Assessment includes Noncompliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year “historical” review of the facility’s compliance and operation. No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

Additional time was required to provide some staff records to CCFL for review as part of this routine inspection and so this report was written off-site and provided to facility manager and licensee electronically on May 26, 2023. This report and risk assessment rating to reviewed with facility manager prior to providing a copy of the report and no signature was collected.
