General sanitation - satisfactory;
Back handwashing station supplied with hot/cold running water, liquid soap in the dispenser, and paper towel which stored on the prep. table (the paper towel dispenser is empty).
Coolers (display, walk in, upright) < or = 4 C;
Freezers (display, walk in, upright) < or = -18 C;
Thermometers for cold units - available;
Temperature log is maintained and kept up to date.
Note: No hot-holding units.
Two compartment sink available for manual dishwashing of utensils (i.e. knives, cutting boards). Quat sanitizer available in spray bottles and dispensers at 200 ppm.
Vinyl gloves used for vegetable preparation.
No signs of pest activity. Traps are set and empty. Ecolab is hired as their pest control company.
Bulk food items are dispensed using scoops stored outside the dispenser. The scoop handles are not touching the food items.
Random food items (i.e. baby formula, dairy products, meats) checked for expiration dates, condition of packaging, and any signs of deterioration. All in good condition.
All food stored of the floor at the time of inspection.

Noted designated bin (labeled) for damaged food items (inside walk in cooler, outside in the back storage area). Discarded once recorded.
Note: There are no deli/bakery/meat/seafood departments that process food items on site for immediate consumption. Only preparation done on site is cutting/trimming whole vegetables in the prep area in the back of the store. All food items are prepackaged or whole vegetables/fruits.

Recommendation:
1. Display shelves have to be cleaned from food debris (International Foods/# 7).
2. Paper towel has to be kept in the paper towel dispenser (the back prep.area).
