On October 24, 2019, Licensing received a complaint alleging concerns regarding care and supervision and records/reporting. The allegations included the following details: - Staff did not take appropriate steps to prevent certain behaviours - Staff did not immediately notify a PIC's family of an incident All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was received and reviewed from records, policies and procedures, inspection, and emails. The following contraventions were determined: - Residential Care Regulation 42(1)(a) - Staffing Coverage - Residential Care Regulation 77(2)(a)(b) and (c) - Reportable Incidents |
