Observation: OBSERVATION(S): 1) Single use milk plastic containers used to store big chunks of ice in chest freezer back of house
2) Single use small plastic containers used as scoops inside flour and sugar water containers.
CORRECTIVE ACTION(S): Ensure single use containers are replaced with proper scoops with handles in the above mentioned location.

This inspection done by an EHO student.

GENERAL COMMENTS
-All handwash stations stocked with liquid soap, paper towel, hot/cold running water
-Bleach bucket sanitizer noted at 200ppm residual concentration.
NOTE: Ensure test strip is available to verify concentration at all times
-The following temperatures were measured
-Prep cooler at food surface 3.0 deg. C, inside cooler 4.0 deg. C
-Upright stainless steel freezer -17.0 deg. C
-Glass door sliding cooler 2.9 deg. C
-Display cooler (front of house) 2.9 deg. C
-Chest freezer (Back of house) -27.0 deg. C
-Domestic Cooler (Back of house) upper level -21.0 deg. C lower level 3.0 deg. C
-Ice machine noted in sanitary condition
-Domestic dishwasher in use. Ensure light is on for sanitizing cycle. If not, have dishwasher serviced.
-Food handler hygiene satisfactory --> Foodsafe level 1 certified staff on-site. Certificate expiry date May 28, 2021
-General Sanitation is good
-NO Signs of pest activity noted at the time of visit
-Health permit is posted in a visible manner.

Covid-19 Protocol (TO DO LIST)
-No Covid-19 Safety Plan provided on-site upon request.
WorkSafe BC template emailed to operator. Have Covid-19 Safety document in place on-site and also email to District Health Inspector for review.
-Ensure Social distancing floor marking are installed in premise.
-Ensure all staff make use of face masks especially if not of the same house hold.
