Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # ABAN-AW8U3Q of Feb-22-2018 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] ( Several dirty/soiled utensils and cutting boards are stored underneath prep table to be used over and over again.)

Follow-up Inspection: Walk-in freezer has now been repaired. Temperature of walk-in freezer measured at -24.2 degrees Celsius. Correction Order rescinded for walk-in freezer not in good work order. Walk-in freezer has been cleaned out and only newly frozen items are placed in the freezer. All food items in walk-in freezer are frozen. Utensils that have been used for food preparation are placed into dishwasher after usage. Toilet tank cover has been placed on toilet in employee washroom. Note: Violation code 306 and code 307 from routine inspection on February 22, 2018 (report #ABAN-AW8U3Q) are still outstanding. Follow-up inspection to take place on Monday February 26, 2018 for cleaning and tap knob on prep sink. Reminder: Standing correction order is still in place for all hand washing stations. Ensure all hand washing stations are fully equipped with liquid soap, paper towels and hot/cold running water at all times and easily accessible. Any future repeated violations regarding inadequate hand washing stations will result in an immediate violation ticket.
