Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 1C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -14C.
-Front meat display cooler was at 2C. Fish cooler was at 3C.
-Front freezer units were at -18C.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 2-compartment sink. Sink plug present and bleach available.
-Bleach spray bottle labelled and tested at 100ppm.
-Meat cutting surfaces disinfected with bleach at least every 2 hours.
-Meat cutting saw disinfected throughout the day and disassembled for thorough cleaning and sanitizing at the end of the night.
-Handwash stations accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Foods stored off the floor and covered. Customer area foods were in good condition.
-General sanitation satisfactory at the time of inspection. Walk-in cooler shelving units require additional attention.
-Facility serviced by a professional pest control operator every 2 to 3 weeks. No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
-Washroom clean and well maintained.
-Operator FoodSafe Level 1 valid until July 12, 2021.
-Cooler (February 2020) and ceiling lights/tiles (future renovations) are scheduled for the future. Contact the inspector for an inspection once the renovations have been carried out.
