209 - Food not protected from contamination [s. 12(a)]
Observation: 1) Uncovered large spiral sausages uncoveredi in freezer. Many items in coolers and freezers left uncovered
2) Plastic bucket of cabbage with hose left inside with water filled to the top. This is also a dangerous as there is no backflow preventer and dirty water can get sucked back into the drinking water system
Corrective Action(s): 1) Cover all foods
2) Take dirty hose out of plastic bucket with cabbage. Use your sinks to do food prep as that is what they are designated for. Using a dirty hose hooked up to a plumbing outlet is not an approved method due to the above risks.

Observation: Rodent droppings observed on shelves and floors in back/corner areas

Observation: Various floor tiles missing especially behind the stoves. This is leading to pooling water and unsanitary conditions where food is prepared
Corrective Action(s): Have a long term plan to either replace tiles or fill in the empty spots so that floor is smooth, easy to clean, and does not lead to pooling of water.
