Observation: Rodent droppings were observed in the storage area under the cash register area.
Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize all areas affected with rodent droppings and monitor for pest activity. Contact pest control operator if pest activity returns.

Observation: Supervisor FOODSAFE Level 1 expired May 6, 2022. Other staff members on-site did not have valid FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training.
Corrective Action(s): At least one person on shift must have FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training while facility is in operation. Staff must successfully complete a FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent training or staff must be scheduled to ensure at least one FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent staff member is on-site during hours of operation.

Comments

-Walk-in cooler was at 4C.
-Walk-in freezer was at -17C.
-Sandwich coolers were at 3C and 4C.
-Front beverage cooler (milk) was at 4C.
-Hot holding was greater than 60C. Foods are reheated to greater than 74C prior to hot holding.
-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-Cleaning and sanitizing carried out in the 3-compartment sink. Quats sanitizer dispenser was tested at 200ppm. Sink plugs present.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Staff observed practicing good handwashing practices.
-Quats sanitizer spray bottle and pail were at 200ppm.
-Equipment was in good sanitary condition.
-General food storage practices good at the time of inspection. Foods stored off the ground and protected from potential contamination.
-Washroom clean and sanitary. Handwash station supplied with liquid hand soap and air hand dryer.
