Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Cutting board for the small prep cooler next to the cooking line was stained black.
2. Multiple food scoops appear to be caked in food debris.
Correction: 1. Clean and sanitize cutting board. If cannot be cleaned, replace cutting board entirely.
2. Clean and sanitize all dirty food scoops.

Follow-up to inspection conducted on Mar 15, 2023

- Hand washing stations are equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
- General sanitation has improved. Ensure cleaning continues to be done regularly.
- Cutting board on prep cooler has been cleaned.
- Greasy cardboard has been removed.

Note:
- If food scoops cannot be stored upright with handles pointing upwards, store them in a clean container outside of the bulk bin.
- Replacement bulk bin lid is pending. Duct tape is not a viable fix as it cannot be sanitized properly.
- Gaskets in the prep cooler will need to be replaced/repaired as they are falling apart.
- Do not leave utensils in the hand washing station. Hand washing stations must be kept clear and be used for hand washing only.
- Go through food stock and discard food products past the best before date.
