Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance .). A covid-19 risk screening assessment was completed with the facility prior to this inspection.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At the inspection dated June 4, 2020 there were 4 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The following discussions were had with the Licensee: · Universal precautions · Staffing & Active Supervision · Essential Service Registrations & Emergency contacts · Covid-19 prevention Strategies The following resources were provided: · Resource package for Childcare Facilities containing info on: Covid-19 ;Healthy Diapering; Germ Fighting; How to cough; How to Sneeze The information contained in the report was discussed with the Licensee and Licensing stated that the report will be emailed to the facility Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
