All hand wash stations were fully equipped with soap, paper towel, hot and cold running water.
All coolers 4C or less (walk in, prep cooler..etc)
Walk in freezer -18C
No hot holding available. All foods are made per order.
Probe thermometer available on site to check internal temperature of foods. Ensure probe is sanitized between uses.
Good general sanitation.
No obvious sign of pest activity noted at time of inspection. Back door was closed at time of inspection.
Dry storage area well maintained.
Self closing hinges have been installed on washroom door.
Light covers in place.
New premises does not have an ice machine.
Quat sanitizer at source and in containers with cloths submerged 200ppm. Test strips available.
High temperature dish washer achieved 71C (with thermolabel).
All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered..etc)
Staff on duty have foodsafe training, wear clean uniforms and hair restraints. Good hand washing practices observed.
** Noted hand sanitizer installed at each hand sink. Hand sanitizer does not replace proper hand washing and is not intended to be used during food preparation/processing. Highly suggest removing sanitizer from each hand sink to avoid staff confusion and improper hand washing.
