-Inspection conducted to grant health approval for new premises.
-Premises is built as per the approved floor plans
*Noted: Splash guard between food prep sink and warewashing sink was a removable piece --> have this installed so it is permanently secured and cannot be removed during operation.
*Note: location of dough mixer by back door is area of storage only. Dough mixer is to be rolled out and used in the food preparation are by hand sink (as per plan approval correspondence).
-Corporate food safety and sanitation plans are being review by BCCDC
-Health application form received with legal name documents
-operator has Foodsafe equivalent training
-Permit fee for $25 received at time of inspection
-Hand wash stations in food preparation area had soap, paper towel, hot/cold running water
-Air drying available in public washrooms
-All coolers 4 deg. C or less and equipped with thermometers (walk in cooler, prep cooler, upright coolers x 2)
-Walk in freezer -18 deg. C and under counter 2 door freezer - 12 deg. C
-Quat sanitizer at source and in spray bottle 200 ppm. Test strips available.
-All surfaces are smooth, durable and washable.
-Health approval to operate granted.
